No access to MT2500 OpenVPN server LAN from SFT1200 Client

I have a GL-SFT1200 Opal that I am using as a client to connect to a GL-MT2500 Brume2 OpenVPN server.
The SFT1200 is unable to see the local LAN on the MT2500 when connected.
I also have a small Cudy AC1200 OpenVPN travel router.
When the Cudy is connected to the MT2500 server (using the same client config), it is able to see the server LAN just fine.

I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out why the SFT1200 doesn’t work as expected, but the Cudy does.
If anyone has experienced this problem and has an idea as to what is going on with the SFT1200 → MT2500 it would be greatly appreciated!!!

When I was using my old Slate 750S as a remote VPN client, I had to turn on ‘Allow remote access lan’ (which wasn’t on by default) in the Slate’s VPN Dashboard client settings. Then I was able to connect to the devices on my home network lan.

Thanks. That setting is turned on as it is also used when Wireguard is up and running.

I’m at a loss as to why Wireguard allows the Opal client to see the server’s LAN, but OpenVPN does not.
