No locations available in NordVPN set up

So ... trying to set up my travel router with NordVPN. I did this without issue about a year ago but now I am hitting a wall. There are no server locations available for me to select.

I followed the GL.iNet directions and the Nord interface seems to be running smoothly but I can't seem to get passed this part and don't know where I f'd up ... any help would be appreciated. FWIW, I did search for similar topic so please forgive me if this has already been address.

Hi,

  1. Please Google check whether the VPN is allowed locally.

  2. Please make sure that you type credentials and that the input is correct.

  3. Please change the Internet source of GL Router. Like, if the original repeater was connected to the hotel WiFi, so swap the repeater to your phone hotspot, and try to update NordVPN list.

  4. Please manually switch DNS in GL GUI > Network > DNS, select 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1, etc.

  5. You can test whether the NordVPN APP can establish a VPN connection and work fine on your PC or phone.
