Notification rules?

Maybe I am missing something here, is there a way to have more notification rules from Goodcloud ?

So for example. I would like that router A alerts for up/down and router B also alerts for up/down and also clients joining.

Also do you plan to add richer alerts, I mean more than just device up/down and clients?

Hi

At the moment, personal accounts support creating only a single notification rule; only organization accounts can create multiple rules.

May we ask how many devices you currently have, or how many devices you plan to bind to GoodCloud eventually?

Yes, we do plan to introduce more notification types in the future, but there are no further details we can share at this time.

I have 7 devices bound currently and it’s just for personal use. I do not plan on more than 10 devices at this time.

At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any other available approach besides selecting multiple devices within a single rule and choosing all the events you’re interested in, rather than creating multiple rules for configuring notification events separately for each device.

We’ll pass this feedback to the GoodCloud product team to see whether it’s possible to allow more notification rules for personal accounts in the future, but this is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

I will look into forwarding events from the router’s syslog.
