Hey there,
Nice router
Although I am not being able to run asterisk 15 properly on it.
asterisk -rvv does not work
ps |grep asterisk comes empty
/etc/init.d/asterisk start does nothing
/usr/sbin/asterisk works and start
so I did that, and went to startup processes and disabled/enabled just to fix things and make the reboot, the router did not started anymore, it kept a blue light fading (2nd step on boot)
So I pressed the reset button for 10 sec and started again.
fresh router
1 - install luci
2 - opkg update
3 - opkg install asterisk15 asterisk15-app-confbridge asterisk15-app-senddtmf asterisk15-app-verbose asterisk15-bridge-builtin-features asterisk15-bridge-native-rtp asterisk15-bridge-simple asterisk15-bridge-softmix asterisk15-chan-iax2 asterisk15-chan-sip asterisk15-codec-alaw asterisk15-codec-g729 asterisk15-codec-gsm asterisk15-codec-ulaw asterisk15-curl asterisk15-res-pjproject asterisk15-res-rtp-asterisk asterisk15-res-sorcery asterisk15-res-timing-timerfd asterisk15-res-xmpp
So after installing, asterisk is up and running properly.
Time to reboot, and after reboot, asterisk process is not online anymore…
service asterisk restart does not work.
There is a problem here on startup somehow
Now is time to make the luci - system >>startup enable disable thing. Just saving the post before going down
/usr/sbin/asterisk -f

Trace/breakpoint trap
Did not bricked, so seems to be my config?
Maybe this cdr.conf? don´t know
**So after rebooting nothing happened. **
**So I forced loading of /usr/sbin/asterisk to run it. **
After that another reboot. no brick, no asterisk

So I tried also asterisk 13 and the same happens.
Asterisk process does not startup on boot for some reason
fresh router, no config nothing.
Are you running stock GL.iNet or have you compiled your own Openwrt?
I was running stock Gl Inet

The luci-app-asterisk give you two sip extensions, sip trunk, voicemail and conference meetme configured as a demo.
You could then setup whatever you require although I wouldn’t go more than four phones and two sip trunks.
You could add a usb drive for recording calls and voicemail but the siflower CPU might not be up to this.
There used to be an app called luci-app-pbx but the creator shared their configuration and sadly included their sip details and somebody else ran up fraudulent calls.
