Just a heads up in case you missed it - the latest OpenWRT 22 came out a few days ago. I just downloaded a firmware for my GL-AR300M Shadow and it installed without a hitch.
Did you install it in the NOR or NAND flash? Any issues to report?
I downloaded & installed a NAND image for Shadow.
Install works fine, kicked the tires and all seems fine, page loads are nice & snappy, but that’s all the testing I’ve done so far.
Thank you. I plan to upgrade my AR300m that I use as a multi-protocol VPS server, that is running Wireguard and SoftEther. The SoftEther packages are large, and will not easily fit into NOR storage.
Sounds like a cool project
I’m hoping to start posting more around here about both vanilla OpenWRT and GL.inet firmware. I decided I was going to learn OpenWRT inside & out as my next intentionally developed skill, and I’m just kind of at the start of that now.
The GL.inet devices are a great basis for that because they are both inexpensive and already useful out of the box!
We will be on 21.xx for many years I think.
Nftables are new to 22.x Right?
When will other devices be updated to 22.03?
