OpenWrt Band Steering - How to implement?

Good day, I recently started studying openwrt, and in search of information for 2 days now I have been testing band steering with modules both usteer and DAWN, basically half works, namely to throw the client from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz, but it is already difficult to return it back.

I ask for help with the setup
I use one router (gl mt6000)
Firmware openwrt 24.10.0
Kernel 6.6.63

I want to configure band steering so that when -70 dbm and below are reached at 5 GHz, it first sends a proposal to the client to switch to 2.4 GHz, but if the client does not respond to the proposal, then automatically kicks it.
And if at 5 GHz it becomes -60 dbm and higher, then it automatically transfers the client from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz (or alternatively when reaching 55-60 dbm at 2.4 GHz)

Is it possible to implement all this, if so, please tell me in detail, thank you very much in advance

Hello,

GL router firmware does not support the "band steering" feature.

Maybe there are some modules that will provide this capability? If so, I'm interested in the detailed configuration

usteer and DAWN, like you already know.

But guess only on open firmware. And there are no good tutorials because, well, it's not that easy :frowning:

To know which of these would be better for my request
