has anyone tried flashing openwrt on the GL-X750V2C6?

Openwrt is officially for X750C4

OpenWrt 1907 or 2102?

The latest stock firmware comes with OpenWrt 1907 already.

X750V2C4 or C6 does not affect openwrt because it is only the modem differences.

I meant vanilla openwrt

Yes. There is only one firmware for X750, wether C4 or C6.
