Sorry if this has come up a few times already, but I wanted to check whether there’s any recent update on plans to move the B3000 from OpenWRT 19.x to 23.x or 24.x.

We are currently working on the release of version 4.8.x for the B3000.
This will most likely still be based on op19 rather than op24.
If you have specific requirements, you could consider installing the native OpenWRT.
Please note that we cannot guarantee to provide support for this.

The B3000 and the X2000 are based on the same Qualcomm Openwrt 19.x SDK.
The latest version of the qsdk is Openwrt 24.10 and kernel 6.6 but does not support the chipset of the B3000:
As GL-iNet rely on the proprietary drivers provided by the qsdk for their official firmware, it’s unlikely to change to a newer version unless Qualcomm release a new qsdk based on a newer release.
