Options Missing after Firmware Upgrade

My Spitz X3000 prompted me to upgrade to v4.08, which I did.

  1. there used to be an option to stop GL calling home and checking for updates, now missing.
  2. the lock tower options are missing (it just shows modem AT commands)
  3. sending SMS doesn't work and the country code 44 for the UK is under GG (took me forever to find it).

Do you mean your router prompted you to update to 4.8.4?

Interesting you were prompted to update since its still listed only as a snapshot on their website. Mine is still sitting on 4.8.3

Yes, it prompted me, not sure of the version but this is what I’ve got now (looks the same as what you have).:

Yeah okay that is 4.8.3 which is the latest stable release. That makes sense
