Is it possible to use Outline VPN client files with GL-inet routers? That is, have Outline running on a cloud server and have the router connect to the server as a client?
Outline is based on Shadowsocks and has some backing by Google.

This Reddit post hints that it may be unlikely to get Outline to work with a router:
Sorry, GL.iNet routers don’t support running Shadowsocks.
Just install luci-app-shadowsocks-libev, go to the advanced interface (luci) and paste your outline access key.
