Packet loss on GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX)

I'm trying to stream games from GeForce Now.

The GeForce Now has a network tester and that tells me that packet loss is high.

I'm currently on firmware 4.6.3, it's connected to ISP box, which goes into the Beryl router using PPPoE protocol.
I tried various of things, Like turning off my VPN and using a wired connection, but the only thing that works is rebooting the device. Sadly it only last a few mins before the problem comes back again.

Saw some similar post online, no real solutions
I wondering if there is anything I can to improve it?

Could you please try it without the Beryl, just by using the ISP box?

I'll do you one better
I have connected the old TP-Link router (ac1200) to the box and it works perfectly fine now.

Smooth connection on 5Ghz
So there must be something wrong with the Beryl device.

Can you maybe try the "OpenWrt 24" firmware for the Beryl AX?

Please do not keep settings while upgrading.

Sorry can you elaborate what you mean here?

While upgrading, don't keep the settings - start from scratch afterward.
There is a checkbox for that.

its still hard to grasp for me there are currently two types of 4.6.3.

Is this about the op version, or the beta?

And is beta still mtk here (since i readed rumors it is the op24?)

Sorry but i'm mildly confused.

You can try mtk version if that dont work you can try op24.

on the op24 i streamed to ps remote without issues, but this depends on how well its implemented too, wifi is still half duplex, if the stream is udp you might need to work with some proxy to make it unicast like udpxy, theres also a option in luci if you edit the wireless inside the advanced tab called multicast to unicast, and you have Disassociate On Low Acknowledgement as checkbox.

Didn't dig deep, but had issues with UDP packets losses after upgrading op24 from 4.6.0 to 4.6.3.
Temporarily reverted to 4.6.0, issues gone.

I have reset the my settings and now running 4.6.3-op24. I can confirm that everything works normal now

I'm just an advantage joe, I expect updates to be improvements.

It's weird that the problem has been in many releases, you would expect them to fix it asap because people might get rid of or return their router if doesn't perform well.
