Passthrough needed and works with T-Mobile GL-X3000

I received my replacement modem in record time after my unit bricked itself. Great customer service!
With that being said passthrough is needed using T-mobile.
Out of the box I had to update the IMEI and APN. I’m on firmware 4.4.9
T-mobile’s network is quirky. My wife uses her Nintendo switch which would not work for online play. You won’t get support from T-Mobile. Even with their own gateway it creates double and triple NAT.
Using the GL-X3000 as my only internet connected to my Unifi equipment I had to put the modem in passthrough. You can search the forums for the command line needed.
I haven’t tried the latest versions of firmware to see if it’s been disabled.
Maybe someone on a later firmware version can chime in on if passthrough still works.
I can still access the web GUI via the modems web address.
I left the modem on its default of SA mode. I’m about 3 miles from my local tower. Not a direct line of sight. My speeds are typically 300/40 at peak times.
This unit works better than most of the other modems out there and with needing passthrough it’s your only choice.
BTW I also use an external 2X2 panel antenna.
I do use two splitters so all antenna ports are connected.
The waveform antennas are not needed. I’m using a generic panel antenna.
I’ll post the link if anyone wants a more cost effective antenna solution to the waveform.

Please pass that link along

This is similar to what I have. I had all the accessories and cables. Mine has type N connectors with cables to SMA. Mine was a lot cheaper when I purchased it.

Then I used a sma splitter to connect all antenna ports.
