Physical Esim Glinet/EiotClub and Puli Gl-Xe300

I have a Physical ESIM from GL.iNet / EIOT and after I disabled all the profiles (the Seeding Profile and all the other normal ones) - it cannot be seen any longer by the router Puli GL-XE300

As usual, the Android Eiot app and their support team are good for nothing

I had this issue before and the last time I fixed it by putting the GL.iNet Physical ESIM into the Mudi router, which did see the physical esim even when all the profiles were disabled. I don't have any longer the Mudi router and I need the Puli router to see the Physical ESIM

I guess the beta version of the firmware for Puli GL-XE300 needs an update?

@Hoff

Hi Silkweb, which version firmware do you use with XE300?
Our news firmware version is V4.3.23, GL.iNet download center
If you use the V4.3.23 still can't find the sim card, please follow this link to share your device to me, I will help you to analyse.

I followed the instructions and I shared the device. Yes, I use the current beta version (7 Nov 2024). At the moment I use the router with a back up SIM (not the intended Gl-inet SIM)

Please let me know if there is anything else that I could do

Please confirm is your device 94:83:C4:21:C7:FB? please tell your web password(you can sent it to hoff.xin@gl-inet.com) and open the Remote SSH and Remote Web Access, refer to the picture below.

I sent the email. Thank you

I disabled all the profiles (the Seeding Profile and all the other normal ones)
Can you tell me how to do this operation?

Can remove this sim card for the device and take a picture about number to my email?

We have identified the issue. Some modules cannot detect the card after disabling all profiles. The module in the XE300 has this issue, while the E750 does not. Could you try reinserting the card multiple times?

I did reinsert the card multiple times (five times and rebooted the device too), however there is no change. The Physical eSIM was not recognised

Do you stop share this device? I can't find your shared devcie.

I stopped sharing the device.

The Physical eSIM (based on my previous experience) is not damaged in any way. The device firmware is having minimum configuration change compared with a fresh install. I use a backup SIM (for Internet connection). All of this indicate to me that there isn't any helpful information that the device could give you from a remote location.

Unless someone has a Puli GL-XE300 with Modem Name EP06ELAR04A22M4G and can confirm that after having disabled all the profiles (Seed Profile and Normal ones) AND after reboot - their device can recognise the Physical eSIM - then my only options are to wait for either the modem module or for the device's new firmware or to change the device with a different model. Until then I will just use the backup SIM.

I appreciate that you were looking into this issue. Thank you for your time

Hi Silkweb, I have used my XE300+EP06ELAR04A22M4G to test many times, it can recognise the esim, pleasse refer to my picture below.

So I think you can reflash our standard firmware and share the device to me again, I need to check more information for your problem.

I downloaded today again the Puli's beta firmware. After that I inserted the Eiot Physical eSIM into the device. I rebooted, manually installed the firmware (I didn't keep any settings) and the Physical eSIM was not recognised. After that I did the minimum configuration and I rebooted it again. The eSIM was not recognised after restarting the device.

I shared the device again on Goodcloud

I don't find your share device, please help to check it again, thank you!

It looks like you received the share
