Hello. I'm not sure if I'm doing a good job, so let me ask. I have a Beryl AX connected to my ISP's router and a WireGuard client. For example, I want to open port 62069 for application, but this way I get "no connectivity" when test port.
If I understood correctly, your Beryl is behind a router (i.e. it’s not your main router). If the Beryl is in router mode, you have a double NAT. You can try a double forward, main router to the Beryl and then Beryl to your server.
To test you should have a service listening, opening the ports alone is not enough.
You have your Beryl in the DMZ of your main router? Are you sure you want that? All the traffic will be forwarded to the Beryl. That's not very safe unless you know what you're doing.
I suggest that you try to forward on the main router rather than dropping the Beryl in the DMZ. It might work and it’s safer.
Your main router connects to the WAN port of the Beryl, correct?
For port mapping on the Beryl, try:
TCP/UDP
Map the port that you want to forward. External is WAN, internal is LAN. Use the same port number for both.
Internal IP should be the server's IP (torrent client).
Try that and make sure the client is running and listening before you test.
You can use something like:
Thank you, but for some reason without any settings, without port forward on the ISP router and without any other settings on the Beryl AX, I got "Connected". I don't know why but yesterday it didn't work with this but today it works.
