Powering Beryl AX via USB from power strip

I'm wondering if I can power the MT3000 Beryl AX using a USB A-C from one of these ports on my power strip. I understand the supply it comes with says 5V/3A but have heard that's a bit conservative.

For me this looks more like all in all it's 2.4A, but every port is just (4x)0.6A

Who knows how it works really - I've seen some of these crappy devices which just have four ports in parallel, 2.4A in total, but who knows what each port is going to get when more than one device is plugged in. Sometimes they work OK if only one port is used.

My advice would be to avoid!

I don't think this is good for the router.

5V 2.4G should be OK for MT3000 but if you connect other devices at the same time, it may cause trouble.

These power strip has bad power design and its DC is not stable. Pls use a better one.

Thanks guys. Does anyone have a recommendation for a USB plug adaptor so I can use a longer wire? I'm using this for home VR use so the included power chord is a bit on the short side for where I'd like to have the router.

This or perhaps this?

The two adapters you posted comes with 1 meter cable.

Do you have another longer cables?

Yes I saw that thanks, was planning on getting the one of the plugs with the cable (can never have too many it seems) and then another longer PD rated cable (probably this or an Anker one)

((ha - just noticed the first link is a USB C to Lightning connector anyway so ignore that!))
