Problems with Slate7 Firmware 4.8.1 Stable

Even if I restarted the Slate 7 or turned it off, when I turned it back on, the internet wouldn't work.

This could quite possibly be a race condition between WG & NTP. I'm quite sure the Slate 7 does not have a RTC. Further details/solution:

If it's happening at bootup it could be a race condition. WG needs the time set to handshake. Unless your device has a real time clock (RTC) time is handled by the network time protocol (NTP) daemon which, of course, requires a WAN connection. It also requires DNS to be online. The problem is all network interfaces — including WG — come up at the same time. While the DNS, then time, is being looked up the WG tunnel could be trying to establish but failing to authenticate. That's the real problem. You'd have to configure the Slate 7 to save its general logs to a USB disk. Do you have one you can use? I'll provide instructions once you do. You'll have to log into LuCI.
