But I want to see from you LTE USB router. Something like this
It will be tiny and comfortable to use.
Most important, I want to see AT commands support (because some crappy ISP blocks modems). And for example HUAWEI sticks is PAIN to flash IMEI or TTL change.
Also, please, do NOT go with ridiculous amount of flash (like 16 mb), at least 64. Why?
To support privacy features like BSSID rotation etc.
Also you can include SD card slot it it to make it work as flash drive (like this HUAWEI stick)
For example, SD support will help users use i in other GL products not taking precious USB slot.
And most modems are OLD and using USB 2.0 with is SUPER SLOW. I think Glinet can make better with USB 3.0
At this stage, our current product may not fully meet your requirements, but we plan to add AT command support in future software updates.
The current 4G USB Dongle is equipped with 128MB RAM and 128MB flash. The system will not be open for now. Could you let us know why this part is of particular concern to you?
Regarding the BSSID randomization/rotation privacy feature, could you provide more details? Do you expect the SSID name to change periodically, or would you like the SSID wireless interface to use randomized MAC addresses?
We have removed the SD card slot because the current 4G USB Dongle is relatively low-powered, and we are also concerned about the risk of damaging customers’ SD cards. Could you let us know what kind of data you mainly plan to store on the SD card?
Our current 4G USB Dongle uses USB 2.0, and we believe higher speeds may not be meaningful at this stage. The upcoming 5G USB Dongle will use USB 3.0. We would be happy to receive more of your product feedback, and once we have the related USB Dongle ready, we would like to invite you to test it.
It is a collaboration with other manufacturers. Some hardware has been optimized, and the software is customized based on our experience. In particular, a significant amount of development work has been done to ensure compatibility with GL.iNet routers.
