That's not the case.
That person in question was a member of a group who organized several illegall occupation of private properties.
Assange did the right thing but in doing so he helped a member of the US millitary to access and extract top secret information which was relased in fully uncensored format
The guy in France was with an activist group who climbed through an open window every now and then, basically on par with leading Hamas if you ask me
