I have a puli ax router that i am trying to get my smarty sim card to work with.
I have rebooted the device with the sim. Changed the apn to smartys apn and rebooted with no success. It changes the apn back again.

What firmware version do you have in your device?
Firmware Version OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT r15812+879-46b6ee7ffc / LuCI openwrt-21.02 branch git-22.245.77575-63bfee6
I refer to the GL.Inet firmware version (3.x or 4.x, for instance).
Latest firmware version is 4.4.13: GL.iNet download center
Try upgrading to that firmware and test if it happens.
I will check this out tomorrow and give you an update. Pretty certain i updated to the latest firmware and also tried to update the cellular module but it looked like the router had the most recent update that the website didnt seem to offer
In theory the router always connects to GL.Inet servers to get the latest firmware. But bear in mind that it could be different depending the model of router and server availability.
So i switched it on exactly how i did before and now it works perfectly.
Which is great but i cant get it to use ethernet. I was able to get it using ethernet when i was messing about trying to set this up but now nothing.
Any help?
I tried two different ethernet cables
Ensured i wasnt using the WAN
Changed the WAN port to LAN to use
Nothing seems to make it work
I dont know what was causing the ethernet issue but i switched on secure boot, reinstalled windows 11 with the 24h2 version and now everything is running fine.
Could i power this router with a poe switch?
If i could; does anyone have a recommendation?
