Hello, i'm using a Puli XE300 router with a SIM card and a couple of devices connected via WiFi. It's in a remote place so i cannot be there to reset/reboot it.
The problem is that i'm experiencing quite daily a problem with WiFi connection. Every morning the wifi becomes unreachable. If i try to connect to the SSID i get the message WiFi Network unreachable. The only solution is to shut down the router and restart it.
I'm using firmware version 3.217
I've also checked the MCU version which is 1.0.9
I would like to know if someone has the same problem and how they fixed it. Otherwise maybe is there a way to manage it via a scheduled task? Or maybe is it possibile to send a SMS to reboot it?
When wifi becomes unreachable, is the network connection of the router normal?
If network connection is normal, you can bind the router to Goodcloud and remotely manage it through Goodcloud, and check for any abnormal wireless configuration causing this issue.
Hi, I have the same issue. Wifi and the cellular internet connection are shutting down daily. Occasionally they come back up themselves, but many restarts of the router are required. I've been running the latest stable, and now I've tried the latest beta, but there is zero improvement to solve this issue.
Hello, what's the error message displayed on the admin panel when the error occurs? Please help to get some system logs when the error occurs for analysis.
Dear Cathy, I was observing the problem. In the last weeks. I believe the router had an overheating issue in the summer months. For the past 2 weeks, it was running without any interruption.
Hello @mueggi thanks for providing the information.
May I know your Puli router's firmware version and the MCU version?
How many client device are connected to the XE300?
