QOS settings for GL.iNet GL-MT3000

I can’t seem to be able to find documentation for configuring the QOS on the GL.iNet GL-MT3000.

That’s because there’s none to be found. You’ll have to get into LuCI.

GL GUI → System → Advanced Settings .

Make a backup of your current settings, of course:

Where do I find QOS settings in:

GL GUI → System → Advanced Settings ?

please, I cannot find it no matter how many times I look through the advanced settings. (Luci).

You’ll have better luck over on the OpenWrt Forums; QOS isn’t supported by GL at this time which is why you need LuCI to install & configure it.

  1. Backup http://192.168.8.1/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/flash

  2. Install package. http://192.168.8.1/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/opkg

  3. Enable SQM. http://192.168.8.1/cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/sqm

In this case, for simplicity, I’ll be starting with SQM.
