Please add functionality to rememer last EDID settings seperately for windows app and iOS apps.
Currently when I use desktop app with 4K resolution and later run the app on my phone resolution will be 4K. It force me to change resolution each time i switch client device.
It's highly unlikely that this feature will be available. Hardware solutions and software solutions are fundamentally different.
I am not familiar how exactly the streaming works at low level, but just wondering if the setting information can be stored locally on client device and read when stream starts?

Because changing EDID is something like changing the monitor on the controlled PC.Changing the monitor is a very unusual situation for the controlled device. Your screen mirroring settings may become invalid after switching the EDID, and it may also affect the display of the local monitor.
