remote ssh ok but remote GUI opens blank

I've connected my first device to goodcloud. remote ssh works fine, but remote GUI just opens a blank page that never loads. I can access GUI via LAN, but not WWAN (which is in Repeater mode). I'm guessing some issue with firewall?

Is remote access to the GUI allowed in the router management page?

Please provide the error interface of your remote GUI.

Goodcloud remote ssh and remote web interface are enabled in the router.
The remote GUI does not report any error. It just opens a browser page that is white and never shows anything.

yes. I have three routers now at different locations and all have the same issue. I have shared one with support.

@alen5193 Despite my degree in computer engineering, I cannot figure out how to private message in this forum :-/. Feeling old.
.. ah. I found the documentation on how to PM support and yet I don't see the Message option. Seems I may be too new to PM and that you need to PM me first. (It is really dumb that the forum software does not at least have a Message button that gives this error, instead of hiding it and leave poor newbies like me wasting so much time trying to figure out the quirks of the forum).

@alen5193. Something has been done to make my situation much worse. I have now lost remote ssh to ALL of my devices, and I need that critically.

I made no changes on the devices or goodcloud so can only assume something was done in the backend to break my remote ssh.

The error I get is redirect to this url
"rttys-ssh-cloud-us.goodcloud.xyz/error/offline"
even though all of my devices report online in goodcloud, and I have one of them with me and know it is online and working (I can do local ssh, but goodcloud ssh stopped working).

@ stevef4571 You should now be able to continue remote SSH, this has been fixed.

The problem of the remote GUI displaying a white screen has not been successfully reproduced.

If possible, is your router nearby? Could you please provide a remote computer desktop ?

oh! Just knowing that you can access the GUI login screen of my device is a big helpful clue! That means issue is at my front-end (browser). I had not considered that. I tried on a different browser and had same issue, but tried a different computer and it works fine!

So now I know that the issue is the computer I was using, which my employer has put lots of crazy security on. I suspect that you are doing something unusual such as a tunnel directly from the browser to the device, which the firewall of my computer is blocking.

I won't make you figure out a work-around for the crazy security on my computer. I will just use a different computer for remote GUI access. Case closed. Thanks for the clue that I needed. :slightly_smiling_face:
