Replacing the home internet access with GL-E750V2

I just got the GL-E750V2 and so far contrary to all the negative feedbacks I have read, this modem seems to perform well, I don't know if there were modification done to this unit apart for the Software updates.

The idea is to completely replace the home internet via VDSL and use this one full time with the Flint 1stgen, but I am wondering if the unit would be safe, if it stayed connected to a powersource fulltime or should I remove the battery and have powered by a suitable adapter.

Would the Spitz X750v2, X2000 or the X3000 be a better fit for you?

I already owned the Spitz X750v2 where the battery expanded and this is why I am curious about letting this unit charging full time and overall experience was not good at all.

X3000 is out of my price range and portability is awkward.

Cheers

Not so recommanded actually. Since it is not disigned for the fulltime running. It may decrease the device and battery life.
GL-XE3000 is designed for such usage while it seems out of the price range as well.
Remove the battery would be a workaround, but it is not so easy to make it. Let us know if you need any guide or instructions.

Right, but the GL-XE3000 is not something I am interested in.

Got it, we will keep this in mind and try to add it in the furture GL-E750 Mudi update.
