Request for official STL/CAD file repository enabling community 3D printing of router cases, mounts, and travel accessories.

Hi Team,

I've noticed several community threads requesting 3D-printable STL files for wall mounts, cases, and accessories across various router models (Slate 7, Mudi 7, Beryl, etc.). Currently, designs are scattered across third-party sites like Printables, Thingiverse, and individual forum posts (product by product).

I do see an area like this on Discord, but not on the forum.

I'd love to see GL.iNet establish a Forum area where:

  1. Official STL/STEP files are published for all current products
  2. Community-submitted designs can be reviewed and featured
  3. Travel-specific accessories (wall mounts, car holders, protective cases) are prioritized

This would strengthen the ecosystem and help travelers customize their setups. Would the team consider this?

Unfortunately, due to intellectual property and copyright considerations, we are unable to provide official STL, STEP, or CAD files for our router enclosures.

There is currently limited discussion and sharing of 3D-printable accessories on the forum, so we do not plan to create a dedicated category at this time. However, community members are still welcome to share their designs directly on the forum. If related demand and community contributions grow, we can reconsider a dedicated area in the future.

We also appreciate your ideas for travel-specific accessories. We will pass them to the relevant team for consideration.
