Request: Remember Windows Size / Position (Windows Client)

Hi,

I’m using the Windows Client on RM1PE, and it’s quite satisfactiory.

Because I open multiple devices every day, it would be very comfortable

to remember size and position of every session device

in order to auto-reconstruct the organized sessions work environment the next day.

Hi,

Regarding this requirement, you can actually achieve this by using the Screen Wall feature in our KVM Cloud platform.

Log in to the KVM Cloud Web UI and follow these steps to set up:

  1. Navigate to Screen Wall on the left menu.
  2. Select the devices you want to monitor.
  3. Click Edit Screen Wall to arrange the layout, sizes, and positions of each device window.
  4. Click Save Screen Wall.

Hi Thalia,

thanks for the reply but I use the client connecting locally wihout going on internet,

so I would need the feature inside the Windows client in local mode.

Sorry, the Windows client doesn't support this feature at the moment.

I am curious about why you have to set different devices in different positions,due to we only support connect multiple device in single windows and does not allow opening devices in separate tabs right now.

Actually I’m opening indeed just 1 device and the window position has to be repositioned on each opening.
In future is planned to add other devices (wich currently are accessed with RDP or Remote Assistance)

so I was taking the occasion to signal the save feature.
