@minmie

Thanks for incorporating the ICMP change to ping the gateway vs public DNS servers. Might want to add that to the release notes. I closed the GitHub issue.

Also for adding exit tailscale exit node. Maybe we can get advertise/accept routes in a future release. FYI, when I run “tailscale update” command, it upgraded to 1.92.3

  • Custom TLS Certificates: Users can now modify and upload custom TLS certificates directly.

I wonder if there are plans for API access to this. While I'm sure I could do so via SSH/SCP, I have some scripts for updating my certs and would love a clean mechanism to upload them to the device that didn't require an unlocked SSH key. Even better would be certbot support, but I'd need a CloudFlare DNS authentication plugin and that's a bit niche.

Can’t wait for High-Bitrate mode for RM10!

Looks like a great beta release, lots of new features to be excited about.

This beta doesn’t cover the RM10, is that correct?

Firmware version 1.8 will be provided for all models; please wait patiently.

Even with this release, the keyboard and mouse don't work. Okay, it's a beta, but if the mouse and keyboard don't work... tailscale doesn't work anymore either... I expected everything from this device but a kvm that doesn't control mouse and keyboard.....very frustrated.

Could you export the logs from the kvm's web help menu and send them to my email luochongjun@gl-inet.com?

In most cases, keyboard and mouse recognition issues are related to the USB cable. Have you tried different cables?

glkvm.local is not working properly on Edge. There is dark screen visible only. Tried both Smart and Normal mode.

glkvm.local works fine on Firefox though.

humm.. works ok for me on Edge.

Ok, I see you set Transfer: Direct. When i change mode from WebRTC to Direct it also works, but in that mode Audio is not available.

i just matched your setting like below. audio worked fine (i can play youtube and audio worked fine)

The issue of the RM10 constantly pinging DNS servers does not appear to be addressed in Beta 2. Can this be fixed before release please?

Also of note, even with the cloud service disabled, the RM10 is still sending UDP packets to stun.l.google.com.

Please note that current Tailscale version is 1.92.5 and 1.90.4 was flagged as having security issues

Can I confirm that this has been fully implemented for RM10? I cannot see any visual difference between ‘Ultra-high’ and ‘Lossless’.

The chip on RM10 not the same as RM1 ,may have different performance

Wait, so is the RM10 chip weaker than the RM1 chip, i.e. is the performance of the RM1 better? That’s… interesting to know.

Granted, I did not check the specs before buying and clearly should have, but based on the Kickstarter comms it certainly seemed to be the ‘newer and better’ model.
