RM10RC - Connections keeps dropping, no cursor visible, 502 bad gateway

Using the Comet 5G on a full signal 5G connection. Previously worked well. Now, connection is dropping every 10 seconds after connecting. When it is connected, the mouse does not show up on the remote viewer, either Chrome or Mobile app. All screens are set to mirror the KVM.

Using Cloud, firmware is 1.8.2 release1. This is making the device unusable. Please help.

Cannot export log files, every time I click Export Log Files the browser crashes.

EDIT: I just tried resetting the device and re-binding. Issue remains.

Regarding the disconnection issue:

  1. Does the same problem occur when using Ethernet or WiFi instead of 5G?
  2. Could you try exporting the logs via the GLKVM App instead of the browser?

Regarding the mouse not showing up:

Please try switching the mouse mode to Relative and see if that brings back the cursor.

Changing mouse modes does not resolve the issue. And even then, I only have about a minute before the connection drops.

i haven’t tried WiFi or Ethernet. I suppose I can try that and report back tomorrow.

As far as logs, I cannot get the logs to download at all regardless of app or browser.

Tried locally with Ethernet cable. Same issue. I see an initial screen, with no movement, just like a screenshot. Mouse moves on the host machine, but nothing reflected on the remote. Something is wrong with the display stream/adapter.

Pass through HDMI is showing fine, so the display module seems ok… Would love to get this figured out as I cannot use the device at all and I have exhausted troubleshooting patience. Do you have a problem with the latest firmware? Am I the only one to report this?

I thought the issue was resolved because I swapped SIM cards, but while I can not connect and control the host as normal. I am still getting connection drops. It is incredibly unstable.

Sometimes, 502 errors, sometimes below:

Sorry!

The device is currently unavailable for remote access;Service loading failed, please try again later.

Another update: This SIM card is also acting up, it moved from 5G to 4G so this is likely the problem.

Hi @heyflorin sorry for the problem. Please share the log via private message. May I know your sim card carrier
