Good morning. I have this problem:
I can only access the device with the local IP and not with the name glkvm.local,
but unfortunately I can't add the device using either the Windows app or the web. However the device is properly connected
to the internet because the white light is permanently on. I just upgraded to the latest available firmware v1.9.1.
I'm attaching the log file.
The name is based on mDNS, which means your client needs to be able to resolve those addresses. If it's disabled or blocked, it won't work. Make sure that there is no antivirus or firewall blocking this.
Thanks for the reply. I checked the mDNS and it's properly authorized by the firewall.
However, it shouldn't be a problem because I can access GLKVM through the local IP.
The biggest problem, however, is that the cloud service isn't working: "access KVMCloud failed" and "generate dynamic code failed."
I think the device, the firmware, or both are defective. I'll send it back to the sender.
Good morning, I think I've finally solved the problem. I've done the following: reset the device using the web command Settings >> Reset; entered static DNS (Google) into the network card; and authorized the glkvm.local link as safe from the browser. I'm not sure which of the three actions solved the problem.
