As you did the comparison test, we may have found the reason.
If the USB port is enabled, the 2.4GHz connection may not be very stable.

I did a different test: I set up my AX1800 router as repeater for another phone's hotspot (disabled the modem). Roomba works fine.

I assume the USB 3.0 is close to WiFi 2.4GHz operating frequency, causing 2.4GHz WiFi conflict.

Probably the USB3.0 port interfere the WiFi speed, but only affect 2.4GHz, not 5GHz. Some users share his idea: It seems that the conflict between USB 3.0 and WiFi 2.4GHz cannot be avoided. If the USB 2.0 is acceptable, please select the 2.0, and it may improve the stability of WiFi 2.4GHz. [image]

1. It is recommended to connect to ZTE modem using repeater mode. ZTE modem can be plugged into routers, but only for power provider.
2. Try to set the USB protocol to USB 2.0 to avoid/less affecting 2.4GHz WiFi when tethering.
3. Take a look at RM520-GL, which connects to your router using an Ethernet port. There is no interference with the wired connection.
