Router web ui is publicly accessible when using a reverse proxy

When using a reverse proxy that points to my public IP on a Flint 2 the routers web ui is available through the proxy domain on port 80 and 443. In the router settings I have Remote Access Control disabled.

Is this typical behavior?
How can I make the router's web ui not publicly accessible through the proxy.

From where did you test? From inside your network or outside?
What is your reverse proxy configuration?

Indeed what is the configuration. If the reverse proxy outgoing interface is LAN or is using a LAN IP address, then this is not a "Remote Access" but a local access.

Same happens when you forward port 80 or 443 to the routers LAN IP address, or set this address as DMZ Host. This follows the "Local Access Control" , not the "Remote Access Control"

"Open ports on Router" might be yet another way to give access from WAN.
