Running a PXE server - serving ISOs on the SD card?

Hi!

Has anyone managed to set up a PXE TFTP boot server, serving ISOs off the SD card? I'm a techie and use my AXT1800 a lot to do things like set up servers with new operating systems and the likes.

Would appreciate a walkthrough guide if there is one, or just some pointers to get me going in the right direction

Many thanks!

Seems unable to support.

It requires to the PXE NIC and the PXE Bootloader.

I believe PNX wants the AXT1800 to act as PXE SFTP boot SERVER, not boot the router itself from PXE.

I believe a guide such as this one should get someone a long way. USB-storage is already present on the AXT1800.

dnsmasq already has support for providing PXE/TFTP services. You might need NFS-Services in addition to just sftp, which could be provided using nfs-kernel-server.

Correct, thanks for clarifying my post.

I will give the guide in your post a go. Thank you!
