Set up WireGuard home server between Flint 2 and Slate AX

Hello, I have just ordered a Flint 2 and a Slate AX router.At the moment I have my ISP's router at home. I don't know much about netwroks so it's probably a stupid question... When I set up the WireGuard server will I need all 3 routers or can I replace my ISP's router with Flint 2 and then connect to Wifi while travelling using the Slate AX, so essentially keeping only these 2 new routers?

So should my setup be:

  1. (Wall >) ISP router > Flint 2 > Slate AX
    or
  2. (Wall >) Flint 2 > Slate AX

If both can be done, which one is the suggested way and are there any pros/cons associated with each option?

Highly depends on your ISP, connection type and ISPs router model. Could you provide those information?

ISP router model is Zyxel EX3301. Connection type is full fibre. Should I look for any specific details regarding the connection type?

Check what is the WAN Ip on your ISP router.

At the moment I am in CGNAT but I have requested a public IP from my ISP at an additinal cost.
