I'm doing a 12 volt conversion on my Gen 2 Starlink on my boat using the SFT1200 router to replace the Starlink router, going from the dish through a 3-in-1 POE injector to the router. Everything seems to be fine except the router does not recognize the ethernet patch cable in the WAN port. Latest router firmware installed. I've tried disabling Acceleration as recommended in a few posts but nothing I change or do seems to make the router see the cable or connect to the internet. Also, what does the switch on the side next to the reset button do?
That is the toggle switch button, the enabled settings in GL Web UI -> System -> Toggle button.
- Please try a new better-quality network cable.
- Please try bringing the SFT1200 WAN connects to the ISP router, or other normal router LAN, to see if the SFT1200 WAN works ok.
- Please PM the syslog during the WAN doesn't recognize.
