I purchased the X3000 router a few days ago and now I want to use it with mobile data.
The following problem has arisen: the SIM card does not stay in the slot provided for it. You can push it in, but it does not stay fixed in the device, even after pressing it in several times. I understand how it's supposed to work: it should click into place and the card should stay in.
My question is: is there a way to secure the card? Otherwise, I will have to return the router immediately, as it is unusable for me in its current state.
To ensure the SIM card is properly installed, please verify two things:
Correct Orientation: Make sure the SIM card is oriented correctly according to the diagram next to the SIM card slot.
Firm Seating: Gently but firmly push the SIM card into the slot until you hear a distinct click. This sound confirms that the card is securely locked into place.
Test with Alternatives: If the problem persists, please try using a different SIM card if available. Please also try a different SIM slot available with both SIM cards, to help us determine if the issue is with the SIM card itself or a specific slot on the router.
