Hi, simple question, is it possible to use the SIMPoYo Physical Esim in modems from other brands or is tight to Gl.inet modems? Thats it, Thank you for your answers :slightly_smiling_face:.

Yes, the SIMPoYo Physical eSIM is not tied to GL.iNet devices and can also be used in compatible cellular modems from other brands.

SIMPoYo is a physical eSIM (eUICC) in a standard SIM-card form factor. Once an eSIM profile is enabled, it can be used by a compatible modem similarly to a regular SIM card.

However, if you would like to download, switch, or manage eSIM profiles directly through the modem, the modem module and its firmware also need to support the required eSIM commands.

For reference, some Quectel modules used with our devices support this functionality, while compatibility differs by module and firmware version.
