Site 2 site vpn - connection doesn't restore automatically

Hello
I have a site-to-site VPN setup. At home, I use a Flint router as the VPN wireguard server, and for travel, I use an Opal router as the VPN client. Everything works fine initially, but when the Flint router at home is rebooted, the client loses access to the VPN server.

Even though the WireGuard server on the Flint router shows a green icon and seems operational, the connection doesn't restore automatically. After multiple attempts to reboot the Flint router and disable/re-enable the WireGuard server, the connection eventually works again.

This is very frustrating because when I'm traveling, I won’t have the ability to manually disable and re-enable the WireGuard server

Does the Flint get a new IP after reboot maybe?

I'm on ip4, and the address still the same

Even if this isn't the solution you should bind your home router to GoodCloud so you can access the Web UI remotely even without VPN.

Thank you I set yp GoodCloud, like this I can access my router even without vpn.
But do you have any idea why my vpn client can't connect automatically ? and this is random
PS: all my router have the last version

Ya, That's the only way I got my Server / clients to work. It even sends you alerts like

Device Brume 2 Disconnected from Cloud Platform.

Dear User,

Detected device Brume 2 triggers the alert event: Device Online/Offline
● Device Name: Brume 2
● Model: mt2500
● MAC:
● Trigger time: Thu, Dec 5, 2024 at 1:24 AM(UTC)

Can't you then just login to flint & Disable WireGuard server then Re enable it then wait for GoodCloud flint server status green is what I read online.

Could you share some more info and logs? Better some pictures.
Since generally it shall connect.
