The site to site feature is not working for me with any modems that I try. I use this feature daily and nothing has changed on my side so I don't think it is anything that I am doing wrong.
It is normal for me to use our device to configure s2s. Please check that your device has open Internet access and the port is 51830. If your problem still cannot be solved, please take a screenshot of your s2s configuration and share the main node device with our technical support account: gl. inet_Support
Here is a screen shot of the configuration
EC20 is the modem that I have at my house that I use everyday. SFT147 is at a remote site and is on a static public IP address. Both modems should be capable of being the main node. It fails every time. I also asked a coworker to test his site to site connection and his is not working either. We use different modems. I have also shared the SFT147 device with the GL. net support account.
In our test, your two devices cannot access the Internet. You can obtain the current public IP address of the device from the device details. Use the public IP+51830 (your configured port) for Internet connectivity test
If the device cannot access the internet then why does it say online? And why can I access the gui?
I have shared EC20 with the support account as well. I have always been able to use this modem as the main node with no problems.
This is starting to negatively impact our business. I use the site-to-site feature everyday to troubleshoot issues on the network. I have several tickets that have been on hold for days now because this feature is not working. I don't understand how it was working just fine a week or two ago and now none of our modems will allow a site-to site connection? It is not like we just changed the port forwarding settings in one modem and now all of the modems are broken, this is a bigger issue.
@bruce Might you have a look and maybe escalate this issue?
My colleagues have been PM or email with Shawnpitner to troubleshot.
At present, this issue has been fixed. I have created a test network under your account, and you can establish other s2s networks based on it
Thank you, it seems to be working now.
