Slate 7 won't connect to Brume 3 with AmneziaWG

Hello there,am just got my Brume 3 yesterday and am trying to set up AmneziaWG.

It seems like the AmneziaWG is successfully setup, but I can't connect though my Slate7 which is using a mobile 5G network.

While the AmneziaWG app that is on my phone do successfully connect through my phone's 5G network to the Brume 3 that is at my home. The Brume 3 is connect though my primary router's LAN and I had enabled the port forwarding on my router and enabled the Brume 3's DDNS.

Slate7 is on 4.9.0 and Brume 3 is on 4.8.6

How do I solve this? Thank you in advance.

Edit:The 1 client that on the second screenshot is from my phone connecting to the server.

Hi,

The issue may be related to the Slate 7 client side, or to some settings after the VPN profile was imported.
Could you please share the Slate 7 with us via GoodCloud so we can check it remotely?
This will allow us to remotely check the router and help investigate the issue directly.
You can follow this guide:

After sharing the device, please PM me the router MAC address and the Admin Panel login password.

Hello there, after a few days passed when I test it again. It connects through it’s ddns. on my client Slate7 router.
Now only I get the VPN access outside.Am not sure if it is the glint ddns problem or is the router configuration.

Thanks for the update.

We are glad to hear that the VPN is working normally now.
If the VPN connection recovered after switching to a different network, the issue may have been related to the network environment rather than the Brume3 or Slate7 configuration.

If you run into the same issue again, please feel free to contact us and we can continue troubleshooting with the steps suggested earlier.

I think it mostly would be the glinet ddns,it goes down randomly that I can't connect, and I need to reboot my brume 3,wait a while. Then it would connect.

I still could reboot it through goodcloud, but the ddns is unavailable.

Hi,

When the AWG connection fails again, please do not reboot the Brume 3, could you please check whether the DDNS domain can still resolve correctly?
In addition, please export the system log and send it to us privately by DM.

These details will help us check whether the issue is caused by DDNS resolution or the gl-ddns process.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
