I get the following in the Wireless menu: “5GHz Wi-Fi will be temporarily unavailable because a radar is using the channel which is currently router using.”.
I am not sure how to interpret it (what is a radar?). I am not repeating a 5 GHz WiFi, but a 2.4 GHz one.
The App (1.3.1) does not show any warning or error whatsoever.
Is this a known bug? I do not see anything specific in the logs.
Thank you for your feedback. This is a known bug and we are working on fixing it. This version of the firmware incorrectly performs DFS detection on all channels.
This prompt is only used when the user is using the DFS channel. The correct logic here is that when the user manually selects a DFS channel in 5GHz Wi-Fi, the UI prompts a dialog and tell the user of the processing logic for the DFS channel. All explanations are in the dialog.
