Slate AX - Cannot select "Subscription URL" in "VPN Dashboard"

Hello!

I was trying to make custom routing for my VPN client (WireGuard) however didn't success on that. Using Slate AX with latest firmware (forgot the version by it was updated a week ago).

Everything has been done using that guide VPN Dashboard - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

I do have enormous list of IPs that I wanted to be routed through VPN - around 3 millions entries stored as text that I would like router to eat and update them daily using subscription URL.

I apologize for not having pictures since currently I'm away from the router and need to get a resolution quickly but I will try to reach it and share pictures asap.

Firstly, I don't have option for Input Mode -> Subscription URL. The only option that appears to me is specified IP list.

So I've said "whatever" and manually pasted my huge list of 3 million entires into text box. Took like 5 seconds to appear in text box and accepted. After that I got completely cut out from internet. None of websites have opened. Router behavior became weird since I then changed "Travelling to" to "All targets" but still didn't get any connection. Then I disabled VPN completely and still got noting. Rebooted and all went back to normal. Enabled custom routing - got cut again.

So I have few concerns that I would appreciate to have your help:

  1. Slate AX has simplified GUI or flagman routers also don't have "Subscription URL" option anymore?
  2. Is Slate AX is too weak to take 3 millions of custom route and process it on the go so lagging as consequence?
  3. Are full-size routers like Flint 2/3 capable of resolving VPN custom routing for 3 millions of domains/IPs?

Asking all of that since I want to purchase Flint 2 for home and make VPN custom routing. Idea is like when any client trying to access website that I want to go by VPN - router will route it via VPN wihout any manual interaction. Rest of the traffic will go by normal route.

I do have Slate AX used daily in my hotel room (away from home for a month) and experimenting on that now. Currently scared to buy Flint 2 since I'm afraid my concept will not work even if it's described in docs exactly like I want it to be.

Regards.

3 Million are way to much entries. Even a few thousand might be enough.
It does not make sense to route that many IPs via VPN. Instead of defining which IPs should be routed via VPN, do the opposite and exclude the ones you would rather not get routed via VPN:
