Slate AX (GL-AXT1800) VPN connection issue

Server :- GL.iNet GL-AXT1800
Client :- GL.iNet GL-AXT1800 (using LAN wire for internet)

VPN :- wireguard client and server

Firmware :- v4.4.6

Issue :-
Server and client are setup in different countries. After 8 days of working successfully VPN connection stopped working. Luckily I had setup a backup server(GL.iNet GL-AXT1800) in another country but want to know why VPN connectivity has stopped working with the other server .

Client ( wireguard VPN) logs :-

Please suggest possible solutions?

It seems that your wan connection went down and the vpn did not get established again.

You mean WAN connection at Client router or server router ?

As my Ethernet wire used to provide connection to client Router works when I switch the server router to my back up server router.

Case scenario 1 ( stopped working after 10 days):-

ISP( country a) → Ethernet wire → client router (WAN port) → server router ( WAN Port ) → Ethernet wire → ISP (country b)

Case scenario 2 (still working) :-

ISP( country a) → Ethernet wire → client router (WAN port) → Backup server router ( WAN Port ) → Ethernet wire → ISP (country b)

Case scenario 2 was my back up.

Please advice how to fix case scenario 1.

It seems that your server router is down or IP changed.

Can you check?

It is good to bind the server router to your goodcloud account and find issues once you met problems.

Yeah, I’m thinking dynamic IP renewal too. @glinet12345 did you set up DHCP reservations/Static IPs? I’d do that for all devices in your case, regardless of the firmware/OS.
