Slate Plus Tailscale speeds slower

Hello all,

I'm having an issue with a Tailscale set up for the GL-A1300. I have an exit node running on a laptop at my place and it has been working fine for the past month. (~10 Mbps). I'm using this router to route my traffic through it. I've applied all the tailscale fixes mentioned in the forum and it's worked perfectly.

Now it connects to the internet fine but it's extremely slower (~0.25 Mbps). I'm running firmware v4.5.16 and haven't tried updating yet since I'm not at the router. The thing that might have caused it was my ISP at my exit node did some maintenance and noticed my public IP changed but idk what else it could be.

The exit node is fine and internet at both locations is fine. The router is in repeater mode and I haven't tried ethernet yet (again not near the router), but it used to work fine. If I connect a device through the tailscale client and use the exit node the speed is fine, it's only devices connected to the router that are slower.

Hi,

  1. Please try to test the repeater speed without the Tailscale exit node, as probably the repeater interface provided the WAN/Internet access.
  1. Please try to test speed in the phone with client exit node and under connected the router. (The router does not enable the tailscale exit node)
    As can confirm if the ISP maintenance bring some changes.
