Slate Router + Travel Adapter - Ethernet Connect Issue

Hello,
I have a Slate Travel Router. When I plug directly into my laptops ethernet port, it works no issues. However, When I use a laptop that does have an ethernet port (only USB C and Thunderbolt - Macbook Pro), and then I have to use an ethernet port through docking station that plugs in USB C or Thunderbolt, the Slate does not connect. (attached pic is an example of the docking stations I've been trying)... It only Blinks Blue. I can see it's getting power, idk if it's enough, but It's enough to blink, but not stay steady. I've tried multiple different portable docking stations, and keep striking out.

Has anyone experienced this? or happen to know what is going on?

Hi,

  1. May I know what the Slate specific model is?

  2. Try changing a network cable. If no luck, maybe the issue is the network port compatibility of docking station and router. Please export the log and PM me to confirm this issue.

Hi, @bruce it is a slate AXT 1800.
I think Ive discovered its more than a dock issue at this point, and more of a set up issue within the actual router...

Can confirm ethernet cord works fine. When I plug it directly into my home network, it works. However, when I try to use it mobile, it blinks, and I cannot seem to figure out whats going on. Ive also performed the recent firmware update, too.

Hello,

Did you connect the AXT1800 to primary router WiFi via repeater?

May I confirm when the issue reproduced, the LED will turn to blink blue?

Is the AXT1800 currently firmware v4.7.0? Please upgrade to v4.8.0.
