I have a mudiv2 and i just put in a t-mobile sim card that is 30GB fast speed monthly data only.
I did the auto setup and i got internet, but its super slow. Not sure how to tell if its the data or the device configuration. Take a look at screenshot, the speed is super depressing.
Yes testing from home. dont have android, i tested on an 4g/5g hotspot “inseego m2000” model, plugged in the same tmobile sim card and got much better speed, around 20mbps when set it to 4G LTE in the m2000.
Maybe on the m2000 is using different antennas or something. When i put it in 5G i get well over 200+mbps - i know the mudi is 4g only, but the mudiv2 gives me terrible around 5mbps down. For the same sim card and same location.
Hi, here are some tips for the slow internet speed problem, please have a try:
Modify the follow cellular settings via cellular manual setup
APN: advised to ask the sim provider for the correct APN, or configure your m2000 APN to Mudi
TTL: set to 65, 89 or 117
MTU(optional): set to 1420 or 1430
Configure Mudi to use the same frequency bands as m2000. Check the cell bands used by your M2000 device. Then bind Mudi to those cell bands as described in Band Masking
