Please direct me to a better forum as appropriate. I recently bought a TP-Link Smart Wireless Security Camera that stores the video in the cloud. However, the initial setup proved impossible because I discovered the camera doesn’t like VPNs.
I’d like to ask if anyone has had success with another vendor’s smart wireless security camera that is compatible with the AX3000 running Astrowarp?

What is your device model? You can find this on the Admin Panel login or Internet page. We assume it is the MT3000—please confirm.
What specific issue are you encountering when using the camera together with Astrowarp? For example, is the camera unable to upload data to the cloud, or are you unable to access it remotely via Astrowarp?

Yes, it is the AX3000.
The setup instructions in the app state that when the smart camera is turned on that the device name should appear in the iphone Wifi Settings and it never did. However, the FAQ on their Web site also stated that the device doesn’t work over VPNs and the iphone Wifi connection uses Astrowarp.
Do you mean that after the camera is powered on, you’re unable to find its SSID in the Wi-Fi list on your iPhone as instructed?
If so, the issue may not be related to the VPN. You may need to contact the manufacturer to ask why the SSID is not appearing in the iPhone’s Wi-Fi list.
I returned this camera and am looking for a recommendation for another security camera that uses the internet to save the recordings to the cloud that is known to work transparently with an Astrowarp+ VPN. In other words, a referral from someone who has been using one for some time. I don’t want a technical discussion, I’m just looking for a slam dunk solution. I realize this may not be the right forum for this question and if the answer is a deafening silence, then I will move on.
I don’t want a doorcam.
