Spitz X3000 - Total Wireless Tab Sim

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone might know the correct APN settings for total wireless using a tablet sim? (new $10/$20 plan)

I've tried VZWINTERNET and the auto setup that selects internet, but I noticed the speeds are very slow leading me to believe something with the TTL / HL needs to be edited.

Thanks in advance!

You can check whether APN is used in the relevant settings of tablet, and copy the APN to X3000.

  1. You can try to modify TTL/HL.
  2. Is the X3000 cellular antenna stable?
  3. If it is an Android tablet, you can download the APP Cellular-Z, check the attaching frequency band, and then lock the same frequency band for X3000.

I use total wireless with a phone sim. You'll need to edit the IMEI of the device to match the SIM of the device you're either taking the card from or emulating. I connect well using the VZWINTERNET and basic settings overall. TTL I use is 65, but I don't think it's necessary. The trick with Verizon towers is they want to use 4G/LTE and 5G NSA simultaneously, and will NOT connect to 5G SA.

The way I solved this problem was to use standard Verizon settings and then under Manual Setup, select "Enable Band Masking" and Masking Mode "Open". Select all LTE Bands and all 5G NSA bands. Do not enable any 5G SA bands. This will force the unit to connect to both an LTE band and 5G NSA band, which is what Verizon is looking for. Let me know if this comment helped!
