Folks,
Doing some more testing with my Spitz x750 routers. I really like the form factor of these routers.
I've installed a Quectel EG25-G modem in my Spitz X750 that is running RooTer firmware. Under the modem tab it show only bands B2, B4 and B12. I purchased this EG25-G modem used. How can I check if it has been band locked?
I have the Quectel_EC2x&EG9x&EG2x-G&EM05_Series_AT_Commands_Manual_V2.0 but cannot find the bitmap for the bands the EG25-G supports? According to the spec sheet it's capable of the following bands:
LTE-FDD: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/18/19/20/25/26/28;
LTE-TDD: B38/39/40/41;
WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/6/8/19; GSM: B2/3/5/8
When I run the AT+QCFG="band" command, I get the following results:
+QCFG: "band",0xbff,0x42000007ffbfdf3fff,0x0
Does anyone have the bitmap for the EG25-G bands? If it is band locked, what is the AT command that will open the modem up to all the bands it supports? Thanks.
Eric
I'm trying to set up one of my Spitz x750 to use here in the US and in Europe. The EG25-G is a global modem. I'm also testing out a Sierra Wireless mc7455.
The EG25-G seems to perform better than the mc7455.....
