SQM, Upload not shaping after a Reboot!

Flint 2 - After a Reboot the upload speed dosen’t shape but the download does, I’ve disabled the Gl-inet QoS and HW acceleration on the Router.

This must be a bug with the Gl-inet firmware rather than SQM it self.

Any suggestions to get this fixed as Bufferblaot is one if not the most important features to address

I've seen you have commented on the other thread about SQM not sticking. Did you try the recommended fix over there?

On my brume 2 I also have the same bug.

For the little times I reboot I just make a mental note to login to Luci and disable /enable the SQM settings, once I do that the SQM settings apply again.

Obviously hoping for a more permanent fix however.

Yeah,Unfortunately you need to access the router via putty etc and I’m not to sure how to do that, I would have thought GL-Inet would have this issue fixed by now!

Just to be sure: is the init script set to Enabled under System -> Startup in LuCI? It's possible to start a script without permanently enabling it.

Yeah it’s enabled, there is a bug with the Gl-inet firmware with SQM downloaded. It’s shapes the download but doesn’t on the upload after a reboot.

Apparently Gl-inet are aware of the issue and said they would merge it into the next firmware but unfortunately hasn’t, Hopefully a member of staff we will update us on the ongoing issues

I have now successfully fixed the issue following the instructions on the other thread regarding this, Gl-inet needs to address this issue or put clearer instructions out for those to follow to fix step by step.

I’m sure they will get around to it eventually

Relevant colleagues have been reminded that it is expected to be fixed in the next version
sorry
