I'm having problems with my GL X3000 Splitz router. Since I installed the 4.8.0 firmware, the connection to both my carrier and my internal network has been dropped frequently (the PC no longer sees the router). It forces me to restart the router by turning it off. This is very annoying. Furthermore, with this firmware, it should have been easier to block my preferred tower (i.e., the one with the strongest 5G signal) without letting it go automatically because it often connects to 4G towers. It always tells me that it's not possible to connect to the selected tower, forcing me to always use the automatic tower connection mode. I'm now updating to the new 4.8.3 firmware, otherwise, if it doesn't work, I'll revert to 4.7, which was the only one that worked.
Hello, what is the router’s LED status when the network drops? Can you access the router when the cellular network disconnects? If so, please export the logs from SYSTEM -> Log and send them to us for analysis.
Your SIM card may be unable to connect to a 5G tower due to network restrictions or limitations imposed by the tower. Please confirm that the 5G tower is supported by your SIM card operator.
